Ozone

The historic Ozone area, named for the pine-belt air that once drew New Orleans families north, sits just outside downtown Covington and remains one of the town's most storied pockets.

Historic · Pine-Shaded · In-Town

The Ozone neighborhoods trace back to the late 1800s, when the Northshore was marketed to New Orleans families as a healthful retreat. Many of the original raised cottages, camp-style homes, and grand traditionals still stand, shaded by tall pines and live oaks.

Today, Ozone appeals to buyers who want history and character within a short drive of downtown Covington's restaurants, schools, and the Bogue Falaya. Homes here are individual, no two look alike, and are prized accordingly.
